01 / What you are buying
A digital sponsorship—not a planet.
Space Pixel sells a moderated digital sponsorship placement associated with a body in the Space Pixel catalog. The purchase does not convey ownership of a celestial body, land, mineral or exploration rights, scientific naming rights, government recognition, intellectual-property ownership, equity, a security, a royalty, or any other investment interest. Astronomical names and data identify public scientific subjects; the purchased product is the Space Pixel placement and its related public record.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and authorized to act for the organization, business, project, or cause named in an application. A separate signed order or agreement may supplement these terms. If it expressly conflicts with these terms, the signed agreement controls for that transaction.
02 / Application and acceptance
Approval comes before payment.
Every sponsor name, destination, tagline, and message is reviewed. An application does not reserve a body or guarantee acceptance. A quote is based on the server-authoritative ledger at the time it is issued and may expire or change if another eligible sponsorship is recorded first.
Space Pixel may verify identity, authority, destination safety, sanctions status, and payment information before accepting an application. Acceptance occurs only when Space Pixel confirms approval and cleared payment through the applicable payment route. Taxes and legally required charges are the buyer's responsibility unless the checkout or agreement states otherwise.
03 / Exact-double succession
The primary signal can change. The history remains.
The first approved sponsor pays the body's frozen opening price. Every later approved successor pays exactly twice the current recorded acquisition price. Space Pixel does not use custom bids, partial increases, or seller-selected counteroffers.
Each activated sponsorship receives 90 consecutive days of protection as the current signal. Successor requests and payments are unavailable during those 90 days. After protection ends, the current sponsor remains in place until an approved successor pays exactly double and activates. Each successor receives a fresh 90-day protected period. There is no automatic expiry or recurring charge. The prior sponsor receives no refund, payout, royalty, revenue share, or part of the successor's payment. Its approved public listing, acquisition price, and sponsorship dates move into Previous Sponsors history. That history remains subject to these policies, applicable law, security needs, and continued operation of Space Pixel.
04 / Sponsor content and conduct
Every public signal must be safe and accurate.
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant Space Pixel a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, format, resize, archive, and reproduce that content as reasonably needed to provide the active signal and public sponsorship history.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for the submitted name, logo, text, and destination. Malware, fraud, impersonation, infringement, illegal products or services, hateful or abusive material, explicit exploitation, unsafe destinations, deceptive claims, and content implying celestial ownership or official endorsement are prohibited.
Space Pixel may reject, suspend, unlink, edit for safety or formatting, or remove a signal or historical entry when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, protect visitors, or respond to a compromised destination. Removal caused by a sponsor's violation does not create a refund. You are responsible for claims and reasonable costs arising from content or destinations you supplied in violation of these terms.
05 / Payment and fulfillment
The public ledger is the record of fulfillment.
When payments are enabled, approved exact prices of $10,000 or less are paid through dedicated Space Pixel Stripe Checkout. A displayed price is not an invitation to send money before an application is approved and its payment route is available. Approved prices above $10,000 require private verification, agreement, invoice, and wire coordination. Space Pixel does not publish wire instructions; independently verify any private instructions before sending funds.
Fulfillment occurs when the approved signal becomes the current public placement in the server-authoritative ledger. Verified payment activates the approved sponsorship. The 90-day protected period begins at activation, so payment-processing delays do not reduce the promised placement period. A receipt, pending payment, application, quote, or bank transfer alone does not create a placement or bypass moderation.
06 / Refund and cancellation policy
All fulfilled sales are final.
All fulfilled sponsorship sales are final.Once the approved digital signal is activated, there are no voluntary cancellations or refunds. The limited payment-error, nonfulfillment and mandatory-rights provisions below still apply.
No refund is due for a change of mind; traffic, attention, search ranking, sales, or other performance; the length of time a signal remains primary after the guaranteed 90-day protected period; a later exact-double succession; a sponsor's discontinued project or destination; or removal resulting from a sponsor's breach of these terms. Sponsorships have no cash value, resale right, guaranteed audience, duration beyond the 90-day protected period, or promised financial return.
Payment errors, nonfulfillment and mandatory rights
Space Pixel will investigate a prompt, documented request involving:
- a duplicate or verified unauthorized charge;
- Space Pixel's material failure to activate the approved signal as agreed;
- a payment-processing error or fraud attributable to Space Pixel's payment process; or
- a refund or remedy required by applicable law.
Where lawful and reasonable, Space Pixel may first correct the charge, complete fulfillment, restore the placement, or provide an equivalent remedy. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be waived. Chargebacks or payment disputes do not create ownership or continued placement rights.
The current sponsorship is a paid placement within Space Pixel. It is not an endorsement by NASA, JPL, a space agency, or the scientific sources used in a body’s dossier. Full dossier contains the recorded scientific information; Previous Sponsors distinguishes historical signals from the current sponsor.
07 / Platform operation and responsibility
A lasting record, subject to a living platform.
Space Pixel is designed to preserve approved sponsor history for the operating life of the platform, but it does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perpetual hosting beyond the stated operating-life history commitment, a particular visual treatment, compatibility with every device, or continued support for unsafe or obsolete destinations. The interface, catalog presentation, security controls, and technical infrastructure may change while preserving the substance of the sponsorship record where reasonably possible.
Except for the express commitments in these terms and any rights that cannot be excluded by law, Space Pixel is provided as available without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, audience size, or business outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Space Pixel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Aggregate liability connected to a sponsorship will not exceed the amount paid for that sponsorship. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.
Space Pixel is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events reasonably beyond its control, including network failures, hosting outages, disasters, war, government action, labor disruption, or failures of third-party payment and infrastructure providers.
08 / Privacy and records
Necessary private data. Deliberate public history.
Applications may collect an organization name, contact name and email, public destination, public tagline and message, accepted terms version, quote details, and security or audit data such as a salted IP hash. Stripe processes card information on its hosted checkout; Space Pixel does not store full card numbers. Higher-value transactions may require additional identity, agreement, and transaction records.
Approved sponsor fields, acquisition price, placement dates, and succession history are public. Contact details, payment identifiers, moderation notes, verification records, and management tokens are not public. Private records may be retained as reasonably necessary for ledger integrity, security, fraud prevention, accounting, disputes, and legal compliance. Do not share an application management link because its token grants access to that application.
09 / Updates, severability, and contact
The current terms travel with new activity.
Space Pixel may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date. Material changes apply to new applications and later sponsorship activity after posting; they do not retroactively rewrite a completed payment agreement except where required for law, safety, or platform security. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the fullest lawful extent. A failure to enforce one provision is not a waiver of it.
You may not assign a sponsorship or these rights without written approval. Space Pixel may assign platform obligations in connection with a reorganization, transfer, or successor operator that assumes them. These terms, an accepted order, and any signed supplemental agreement form the complete agreement for the sponsorship.
Questions, refund requests, or legal notices should be sent through the Logan Pendragon contact page with enough transaction information to identify the record. Do not send card numbers or public wire instructions.
